What is calling me now? How do I find meaning and satisfaction for later stages of life?
We are living longer with better health and seeking meaning for life in the third chapter.
Some have dedicated themselves to a profession in such a degree that they can’t imagine life without it, even knowing deep down it is time to move on. They ask, “What will I do if I’m not____?” “How will I and others value me if I’m not a _____?”
Some are weary of their current roles and need support imaging the future.
Some have already retired but do not have role models or places to use their life-long skills.
Some want to step into an arena they longed for their entire life but felt like they had to choose another profession.
Whatever the situation, the questions are the same. What is calling me now? How do I find meaning and satisfaction for later stages of life? ENCORE is a perspective and process to help you answer those questions. The steps include:
1. Understanding the stages of life: the tasks and qualities needed for each. 2. Harvesting your past—where have you been? 3. Letting go of some things; deciding to keep others. 4. Imaging your future. 5. Identifying conflicts and tensions in the transition; learning to leverage them. 6. Unearthing your fears about moving on; dealing with them directly. 7. Creating plans for next steps, short and long term.
Process
The process can be experienced in a group or in one-on-one sessions. Course will be offered virtually. Homework is assigned between sessions.
Cost
Cost sessions is $1000.00 to join the cohort or $2000 for an individual.
